Must See Places in Denmark!

If you're as interested as I am about renewable energy then I suggest you read this article about an island in Denmark called Samsø. This island is completely self-sustainable since 1997. This is a truly unique island it gives hope to a change in the way we live. The studies that they are performing will hopefully help us to gain more knowledge and acceptance toward renewable energy in the United States. The article is called The Island Of Power.

You should also check out the sight that I found the picture on, they have even more great info about this island!

The first time I was allowed to visit Denmark by myself was the best experience of my life. I met up with a friend in the Netherlands we took a day trip to Amsterdam and then we hopped a plane to Copenhagen. While we were there we stayed with my family, we were able to take a 20 minute train ride into the city and we bought a Copenhagen card which gives you 3 days of free train rides and discounts on museums. It's a great purchase I really suggest it. While we were there we took a boat tour through the canals the best way to see all of the City by boat. Then we would stroll down Strøgetwhich is a pedestrian street filled with amazing stores. We had a great time in the city meeting new and interesting people!
